There is not per user license simply a site license is required. This gives flexibility to the laboratory to increase in size without additional license costs.

Request for Analysis functions

This can come from a variety of sources such as regular customers, internally, various locations.  Requests can be costed differently based on source of request and of course tests requested.  All samples are bar-coded and their storage and tracking is managed by the system.

Request Analysis/Test, In Progress Analysis and Report Test Results can be maintained online.

Tables and Parameters functions

Multiple tests can be maintained online with editing and adding new test features.

 

Tests can have various parameters to record with various combinations of replication and weight sizes.  Various test types can have different requirements that the system can provide for.

Equipment Calibration and maintenance functions

Equipment can be calibrated and maintained and the whole schedule is included in the Laboratory Management System.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Chemical Risk Management (CRM) functions

QA/QC Process functions

This is an example of implementation of charting facilities.  This is only an example and most laboratory systems have different charting requirements which are implemented on needs basis.

Each chart can be set up with parameters, new SQC chart also can be added and set up

Analytic Report functions

Various reports can be generated on the laboratory activity for the day, week or any long period.  Analysis of such reports offers management information to understand how the laboratory is operating and gauge its human resource and equipment requirements.
